Speaking to Epress.am about the US Embassy cables recently made public by whistleblowers’ website WikiLeaks, Heritage Party parliamentary faction leader Stepan Safaryan said they contained “yellow cards” for Armenia and Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

“This is like shuffling playing cards and distributing them again. Further, these publicized documents contain scandalous messages for all countries, so that from now on these countries’ government review their adopted policies,” he said. <\/p>\n

According to him, the cables are a serious message particularly to Armenia and Azerbaijan ahead of the OSCE Summit in Astana, Kazakhstan, with which “the [conflicting] parties are urged to not be stubborn and agree to everything being proposed by the great [i.e. powerful] states.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
