Armenian analyst Stepan Grigoryan called on civil society representatives to get involved in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. <\/p>\n

“To resolve the Karabakh conflict, it’s important to involve representatives of civil society in both countries. This will enhance confidence-building measures between the two countries,” he said, as reported by 1news.az, during the International Forum on Security in South Caucasus held in Baku. <\/p>\n

According to Grigoryan, he visited an Armenian church in Baku and was pleasantly surprised by its condition and level of restoration.<\/p>\n

“I was very glad to see that the Armenian church is under the protection of Azerbaijan. Because the church plays a big role in the lives of Armenians, the Armenian church in Baku left a very positive impression. This gives rise to mutual trust between our peoples.
