Members of the civil initiative South Caucasus Integration: An Alternative Start have created a security council in defense of Georgy Vanyan. The initiative aims to coordinate activities in defense of human rights and carry out civil actions.<\/p>\n

The council expressed its protest against the continuing unlawful activities leading to the termination of Vanyan’s public activities. “Realizing the gravity of the situation, we declare that we will use all possible mechanisms and we are prepared to take all possible steps to ensure his security,” reads the declaration of support. <\/p>\n
