It’s not yet clear whether the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Armenia or not, said Armenian Public TV Executive Director Gagik Buniatyan at a press conference in Yerevan today.<\/p>\n

Chair of Armenia’s Public TV and Radio Company Council Alexan Harutyunyan, also at today’s press conference, said large financial resources are necessary to hold such an event. <\/p>\n

Furthermore, unlike the Eurovision song contest, according to the rules of Junior Eurovision, it’s not obligatory that the winning country host the final stage.<\/p>\n
