{"id":66140,"date":"2011-02-14T13:21:00","date_gmt":"2011-02-14T09:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=66140"},"modified":"2011-02-14T13:22:14","modified_gmt":"2011-02-14T09:22:14","slug":"mubarak-ill-but-not-in-a-coma-egypts-state-media","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/02\/14\/mubarak-ill-but-not-in-a-coma-egypts-state-media.html","title":{"rendered":"Mubarak Ill, But Not in a Coma: Egypt&#8217;s State Media"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Egypt&#8217;s state media denied reports on Monday that former leader Hosni Mubarak was in a coma but admitted he was ill, reports RIA Novosti.<\/p>\n<p>The Egyptian daily Al-Masry Al-Youm reported on Sunday that Mubarak was gravely ill and had slipped into a coma after mass protests forced him from power on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The 82-year-old former head-of-state is in a &#8220;severe psychological condition and is declining treatment, despite his illness,&#8221; the pro-government Al-Gomhuria daily said, citing sources close to Mubarak.<\/p>\n<p>He is now believed to be in the seaside resort of Sharm el-Sheikh.
