Number of Rally Participants Dropped"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>People&#8217;s Party leader Tigran Karapetyan began his &#8216;outdoor conference&#8217; today by directing accusations at opposition bloc the Armenian National Congress (HAK).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They say that Karapetyan is going to desert the people, go quietly and join HAK,&#8221; he said, asking those gathered, &#8220;Do you want it to be this way?&#8221; In response, the crowd had shouted &#8220;No!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Note, prior to the start of the rally, HAK youth activists were handing out HAK leaflets to those gathered. This also became a subject of the People&#8217;s Party leader&#8217;s criticism.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They want to raise their ratings by pushing the other aside. We&#8217;re fighting against the authorities, we&#8217;re not fighting against other, I don&#8217;t which, [political] forces,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Note, in response to an Epress.am journalist&#8217;s question, RA Police Yerevan City Department Regiment Commander Valery Osipyan said, according to police estimates, there were about 400 people at today&#8217;s rally.
