The post, titled &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/gayarmenia.blogspot.com\/2011\/02\/when-hypocrisy-meets-homophobia-founder.html\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">When hypocrisy meets homophobia: founder of Civilitas Foundation and editor of Aravot daily<\/span><\/a>&#8221; reads as follows:<\/p>\n<p><em>He never distanced himself from his own words. He never said \u201csorry\u201d for one of the most disgusting displays of homophobia to come out from the editor of national daily: <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/gayarmenia.blogspot.com\/2010\/05\/homophobic-editor-of-armenian-daily.html\"><em>Homophobic editor of Armenian daily Aravot &#8211; Aram Abrahamyan &#8211; came out with another hate editorial<\/em><\/a><em>. Yes, \u201csorry seems to be the hardest word\u201d, and the least he could have done.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I have to say I am not surprised that homophobic editor of Armenian daily Aram Abrahamyan has been invited to moderate the first discussion in new series <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.civilitasfoundation.org\/cf\/events\/553-one-hundred-questions-and-answers.html\"><em>One Hundred Questions and Answers<\/em><\/a><em> hosted by Civilitas Foundation. This is yet another display of hypocrisy by organisation that talks about European values and human rights.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Let\u2019s not forget that founder of the Civilitas and first \u201cguest\u201d of the \u2018100 questions\u2019 forum is Vartan Oskanian who tries hard at rebranding himself as \u2018human rights champion\u2019. In his <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.civilitasfoundation.org\/cf\/analysis\/armenia\/551-vartan-oskanian-on-the-coalitions-statement.html\"><em>latest statement<\/em><\/a><em> Oskanian denounced Armenia\u2019s ruling coalition latest announcement:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The ruling coalition\u2019s announcement highlights the authorities\u2019 disregard of democracy, elections and the public will.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>There is just one big problem here, Mr. Oskanian.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Vartan Oskanian was Armenia\u2019s foreign minister during 1 March 2008 bloody crackdown on the opposition in the aftermath of falsified presidential election. He was silent regarding human rights abuses then. In fact, I am wrong, he was vocal in his support and excuse of ruling regime\u2019s actions. I do not remember him ever coming clean or apologising. For real.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>At least one reader of this blog who received the invitation below, has already sent a complaint to Civilitas regarding collaboration with the homophobic editor.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I thought it would be good if someone could go there and challenge both Vartan Oskanian\u2019s hypocrisy and Aram Abrahamyan\u2019s homophobia.
