{"id":73837,"date":"2011-03-09T11:57:52","date_gmt":"2011-03-09T07:57:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=73837"},"modified":"2011-03-09T11:58:28","modified_gmt":"2011-03-09T07:58:28","slug":"key-turkish-ministers-quit-ahead-of-general-elections","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/03\/09\/key-turkish-ministers-quit-ahead-of-general-elections.html","title":{"rendered":"Key Turkish Ministers Quit Ahead of General Elections"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The ministers of interior, justice and transportation formally resigned their posts Tuesday as part of a constitutional obligation designed to ensure a neutral election environment, reports the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hurriyetdailynews.com\/n.php?n=key-ministers-resign-ahead-of-general-elections-2011-03-08\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Hurriyet Daily News &amp; Economic Review<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Interior Minister Be\u015fir Atalay was replaced by his undersecretary, Osman G\u00fcne\u015f; Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin by his undersecretary, Ahmet Kahraman; and Transportation Minister Bianli Y\u0131ld\u0131r\u0131m by his undersecretary, Habip Soluk.
