Deputy Head of RA Police Artur Osikyan shared some details of the reforms program with journalists in Yerevan today.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re far from the thought that at the end of 2011 or 2012 we&#8217;ll have that police which we want to see or which the team currently working in the police force really strives for, which basically implements this entire program of reforms,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Osikyan stressed the importance of the inclusion of a special civil service in the police force.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Since Mar. 15, a special civil service was introduced in police, as a result of which the 450 employees in our force are already considered special civil servants, and they don&#8217;t wear the uniform that regular police officers wear while carrying out police functions.
