{"id":91606,"date":"2011-05-02T13:20:19","date_gmt":"2011-05-02T08:20:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=91606"},"modified":"2011-05-02T13:42:43","modified_gmt":"2011-05-02T08:42:43","slug":"school-principal-who-cursed-and-scratched-student-fired","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/05\/02\/school-principal-who-cursed-and-scratched-student-fired.html","title":{"rendered":"School Principal who Cursed and Scratched Student Fired"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Susanna Nazaryan, principal of no. 2 high school in Etchmiadzin, was released from her duties on Apr. 30, according to a decree by the RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, who also issued a strict reprimand.<\/p>\n<p>Recall, as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2011\/02\/24\/criminal-case-launched-against-school-principal-who-cursed-and-scratched-student\/\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>previously reported<\/strong><\/span><\/a> by local daily 168 Zham (&#8220;168 Hours&#8221;), in Dec. 2010, A. Harutyunyan, a former grade 10 student at the school was harassed by Nazaryan\u2019s son and his friends and on Jan. 31, 2011, was subject to a beating by them. The next day, Nazaryan cursed, hit and scratched Harutyunyan in front of all the other students, then forced him to go to another school. Nazaryan also reprimanded Harutyunyan\u2019s grandmother, B.
