Emmy Protests Voting Results"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurovision.tv\/page\/news?id=35723&amp;_t=and_the_ten_qualifiers_are...\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">second semi-final<\/span><\/strong><\/a> of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest took place on May 12 in the German city of D\u00fcsseldorf with 10 out of 19 countries qualifying for the grand final. These countries are: Estonia, Romania, Moldova, Ireland, Bosnia &amp; Herzegovina, Denmark, Austria, Ukraine, Slovenia and Sweden.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, the following countries will be competing in the final to be held on May 14:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Finland<\/li>\n<li>Bosnia &amp; Herzegovina<\/li>\n<li>Denmark<\/li>\n<li>Lithuania<\/li>\n<li>Hungary<\/li>\n<li>Ireland<\/li>\n<li>Sweden<\/li>\n<li>Estonia<\/li>\n<li>Greece<\/li>\n<li>Russia<\/li>\n<li>France<\/li>\n<li>Italy<\/li>\n<li>Switzerland<\/li>\n<li>United Kingdom<\/li>\n<li>Moldova<\/li>\n<li>Germany<\/li>\n<li>Romania<\/li>\n<li>Austria<\/li>\n<li>Azerbaijan<\/li>\n<li>Slovenia<\/li>\n<li>Iceland<\/li>\n<li>Spain<\/li>\n<li>Ukraine<\/li>\n<li>Serbia<\/li>\n<li>Georgia<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Recall, Emmy, representing Armenia with the song &#8220;Boom Boom,&#8221; was left out of the running from the first semi-final. As reported by <a href=\"http:\/\/news.am\/eng\/news\/59126.html\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>News.am<\/strong><\/span><\/a> yesterday, Emmy&#8217;s manager, along with the representatives of four other Eurovision contestants that were voted out of the first semi-minal, have filed an appeal of the decision to European broadcasters.
