The second semi-final<\/span><\/strong><\/a> of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest took place on May 12 in the German city of D\u00fcsseldorf with 10 out of 19 countries qualifying for the grand final. These countries are: Estonia, Romania, Moldova, Ireland, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Denmark, Austria, Ukraine, Slovenia and Sweden.<\/p>\n

Thus, the following countries will be competing in the final to be held on May 14:<\/p>\n

    Recall, Emmy, representing Armenia with the song “Boom Boom,” was left out of the running from the first semi-final. As reported by News.am<\/strong><\/span><\/a> yesterday, Emmy’s manager, along with the representatives of four other Eurovision contestants that were voted out of the first semi-minal, have filed an appeal of the decision to European broadcasters. They claim that the first semi-final was “not well broadcasted in some European states” and that fans were unable to send sms votes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
