{"id":99512,"date":"2011-05-27T10:57:57","date_gmt":"2011-05-27T05:57:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=99512"},"modified":"2011-05-27T11:01:10","modified_gmt":"2011-05-27T06:01:10","slug":"armenia-given-clear-answer-to-basic-principles-latest-version-mfa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/05\/27\/armenia-given-clear-answer-to-basic-principles-latest-version-mfa.html","title":{"rendered":"Armenia Given Clear Answer to Basic Principles&#8217; Latest Version: MFA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Armenian foreign affairs minister Edward Nalbandian issued a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mfa.am\/en\/interviews\/item\/2011\/05\/26\/deauville\/\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">statement<\/span><\/strong><\/a> Thursday in response to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.g20-g8.com\/g8-g20\/g8\/english\/live\/news\/joint-statement-by-presidents-sarkozy-obama-and.1295.html\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">joint statement<\/span><\/strong><\/a> made in Deauville by French President Nicolas Sarkozy, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and US President Barack Obama on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.<\/p>\n<p>The statement by Nalbandian reads as follows:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We highly appreciate the efforts of Presidents Medvedev, Obama and Sarkozy directed at the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The statement made today in the sidelines of the G8 Summit in Deauville by the leaders of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries contains important messages and may become an impulse for the settlement of the issue.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Armenia has always been in support of the settlement of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh through exclusively peaceful means and has repeatedly proven that in practice, therefore, it is clear to whom is addressed the unequivocal message of the statement in this regard.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Armenia has given a clear answer to the latest version of the basic principles proposed by the three Co-Chairs as a basis for the negotiations of the settlement. If Azerbaijan gives an unequivocal agreement, then it will be possible to register progress in the process of the settlement.
