Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev, presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan respectively, will once again meet at the initiative of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. The meeting is set for June 25 in Kazan, the Republic of Tatarstan in Russia, reports Interfax news agency, citing its diplomatic sources.
Once again, the parties will discuss the options to resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh “frozen” conflict. The last meeting of the presidents in the same tripartite format was held in March in the Russian resort town of Sochi.
Planned prior to this meeting is the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs’ visit to the region, as well as a meeting of the foreign minister of all three countries.
