2 More Armenian Citizens Sign Contracts with Ukraine’s FC Metalurh

Ukrainian Premier League FC Metalurh Donetsk signed a contract yesterday with Gevorg Ghazaryan and Marcos Pizzelli, both of whom play for Armenia’s national and Yerevan’s Pyunik teams, in Austrian city of Bad Tatzmannsdorf. Note, the Ukrainian league is currently training in Austria.

FC Metalurh (also spelled Metallurg) sports manager Vardan Israelyan stated on the team’s official website that the contract was signed for 3 years.

The Ukrainian team will be playing against Hungary’s Újpest FC Tuesday. According to Israelyan, Pizzelli and Ghazaryan will be playing in that match.

Recall, there’s another player from Armenia’s national team playing for FC Metalurh Donetsk — Karlen Mkrtchyan.
