The last round of the second period of Armenian Premier League football (aka soccer) championships took place on Jun. 25 and 26 in Yerevan and Abovyan.
It’s important to note that the three leading teams — Gandzasar, Pyunik and Ulysses — achieved victories playing on their opponent’s field. FC Ararat, beating Gyumri’s Shirak on home turf, achieved its second victory in the championship.
Note that a recess has been announced after the Premier League’s 14th day, during which time Armenian players will try their strength in European tournaments.
