FC Mika Loses in Norway, But Still Hopes to Make it to Next Round in Europa League

FC Mika, the last Armenian football club still in the running in the European leagues, was hosted by Vålerenga in the Norwegian capital of Oslo for the second qualifying round of UEFA Europa League.

In a match with quite a strong opponent, Mika was able to show some serious resistance. The first half of the match ended with a score of 0-0, but at the 23rd minute of the second half Vålerenga substitute player Morten Berre scored the only goal of the match.

The minimum-score loss makes it possible for Mika to fight in the second match for a chance to move on to the next round.

Note, the second match will take place in Yerevan’s Mika stadium on Jul. 21 at 6 pm local time.
