Republican Party of Armenia Vice Chair Promises More Redundancies

Speaking to reporters in Armenia’s National Assembly today, Republican Party of Armenia Vice Chair Galust Sahakyan confirmed reports that more dismissals are to be expected in government positions in the near future.

However, “there won’t be any substantial changes,” he said.

Recall, Yerevan mayor Karen Karapetyan resigned last week. This was followed by reports yesterday and today that RA Police Chief Alik Sargsyan will be dismissed and RA Deputy Minister of Defense Vladimir Gasparyan is to replace him.
