Former National Security Council Secretary is Shareholder of Yerevan TV

After lengthy negotiations, Yerevan TV was acquired by an Armenian-Russian company, one of the shareholders of which is Rule of Law party leader Artur Baghdasaryan. This news is reported by Aravot.am [AM], citing Rule of Law spokesperson Artur Misakyan. Misakyan, however, did not mention the names of the company or the other shareholders.

Recently, the Rule of Law party announced it would be leaving the ruling coalition and leaning toward the opposition. He resigned from his position as Secretary of the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia.

Recall, Baghdasaryan ran in the 2008 presidential elections on the opposition ticket, but later, he was appointed the National Security Council position and his party joined the ruling coalition.
