British MP Denied Azerbaijan Entry Due to Karabakh Visit

A UK Member of Parliament might be recognized as an “undesirable person” in Azerbaijan due to his “illegal” visit to Nagorno-Karabakh, reports 1news.az.

“Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has instructed the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Great Britain to verify the information on British MP Stephen Pound’s visit to Nagorno-Karabakh,” said the official representative of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Elhan Polukhov. 

According to Polukhov, if the information is correct, Pound will be declared a undesirable person in Azerbaijan.
