Kseniya Sobchak, a Russian celebrity and daughter of the first democratically elected mayor of St. Petersburg, caused a stir in Georgia recently when she walked down the streets of downtown Tbilisi wearing a shirt with Russian PM Vladimir Putin’s photo on it, reports the publication Zirki.
Sobchak was in Georgia for a private event: local wealthy residents had asked for her to host a large event dedicated to a well-known Georgian businessman.
“Kseniya is a famous person, and Saakashvili won’t attempt to try anything. Furthermore, Kseniya has many influential acquaintances,” said a member of Sobchak’s entourage.
After the private event, Sobchak, safe and unharmed, returned to Moscow.
