An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale jolted Georgia at 5:03 am local time this morning, reports the Georgian Seismological Center.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located 50 km from Tbilisi, near the Dmanisi, Kvemo Kartli, region. No casualties or damage was reported.
Note that another earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale hit Georgia last week, 14–15 km from Tbilisi, near Mtskheta.
