Georgia Ready to Mediate in Karabakh Conflict: Vashadze

Georgia is ready to play an active role in dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan, said Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Grigol Vashadze in an interview with Azerbaijan’s ANS TV.

“The conflict must be resolved on the basis of international law,” he said.

According to him, In resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Georgia is always ready to take on the role of mediator and has a personal interest in the swift settlement of this conflict.

Recall that Vashadze began a two-day visit to Azerbaijan today.
