Armenia’s National Security Looking into Yerevan Water Poisoning Case: Jamanak

An incident of poisoning from Yerevan drinking water has been recorded, reports local daily Jamanak (“Times”), citing trusted sources.

Most likely the reason for the poisoning from (drinking) water is sewer pipes damage, but in addition to specialists, Armenia’s National Security Service is also looking into the issue. There’s an internal order that since the reasons of the incident and what it entails have not yet been confirmed, nothing should be shared with the public — to avoid unnecessary panic. To avoid poisoning, it is advised to drink and use only boiled water, reports Jamanak.
