Facebook is turning 7 years old on Feb. 5. Ironically enough, some users are suggesting an official “Not Using Facebook Day” to mark the occasion.
According to the event created on Facebook, Facebook users are encouraged not to sign into Facebook for 24 hours beginning from Feb. 4 at midnight.
“How about avoiding Facebook for the whole of 4th February, 2011 – the day before it’s birthday? It’s like a little experiment. It would be interesting to see how many people will participate in the end,” reads the notice posted on the public event page.
As of this publication, there are 20, 317 Facebook users “attending” the event.
