Armenian Police Looking for a Few Good Songs, Willing to Pay

The Republic of Armenia Police has announced a song contest, the winner of which will receive an award of 250,000 AMD (about $685 USD). The contest is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the republic’s police.

According to the RA Police official website, “the submitted works should reflect the activities of the police, and the image and work of police officers.”

The contest also offers prizes to the second and third place winners: 150,000 AMD (about $410 USD) and 50,000 AMD (about $137 USD), respectively.

Contest organizers ask that all works be submitted to the RA Police cultural center at 130 Nalbandyan St. in Yerevan.
