Currently joining those gathered at the Armenian National Congress (HAK) rally taking place at this moment outside the Matenadaran (Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts) were Heritage Party MPs Raffi Hovannisian (founder and party leader), Anahit Bakhshyan, Larisa Alaverdyan, Zaruhi Postanjyan and Stepan (Styopa) Safaryan, who were greeted with applause.
Many of those gathered could be heard saying, “You should’ve come long ago.”
Note, also present at the opposition rally is Sardarapat Movement coordinator Jirair Sefilian, as well as writer, publicist Marine Petrosyan, both of whom, in the past few years, carried out civic activities apart from the opposition, being opposed to the tactics adopted by HAK.
