Since 1 pm today, the no. 269 marshrutkas (mini-buses) from Yeghvard (Kotayk province) to Yerevan have ceased their services. Residents waiting for public transportation at the bus stops in Yeghvard informed Epress.am they’ve been waiting at the stop for a long time and are unable to get to Yerevan.
Residents added that the 269 line and Ani taxi belong to RA State Revenue Committee chair Gagik Khachatryan, who gave the order to stop servicing the route.
One disgruntled woman standing at the stop said, “It’s like this before every rally. They’ve turned the mini-buses into their father’s ownership.”
Another Yeghvard resident approached and said “no matter what they do,” he’s going to get to Yerevan and participate in today’s Armenian National Congress rally.
