Azerbaijan Spent $1 Billion More than Armenia in Military Sector

Armenia’s military expenditure in 2010 amounted to $404 million US, according to an estimate by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) published on Apr. 11, 2011.

Military expenditures for Armenia’s neighboring countries include: $1 billion 421 million US for Azerbaijan, $15 billion 634 million US for Turkey and $452 million for Georgia. (No figures were available for Iran.)
