Armenian National Congress (HAK) youth activists today marched through the streets of downtown Yerevan with stops at universities along the way with the aim of informing students of HAK’s upcoming rally on May 31.
“We are going to try to get youth involved in our movement, in our struggle, and accomplish our goal of achieving victory,” HAK activist Sargis Khachatryan told journalists, who also goes by Sargis Gevorgyan.
During the march, the youth were chanting, “Serzhik, Gaddafi!”, “Serzhik, Mubarak!” and other such slogans comparing Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan to the Libyan leader and ousted Egyptian president.
A few police officers accompanied the youth. No incidents were noted during the march.
