Ambassador of Georgia to Armenia Tengiz Sharmanashvili’s statement that agriculture in Armenia is more developed than in Georgia might cause a stir among ruling circles, believes leader of the political movement “Industry will Save Georgia” Zurab Tkemaladze.
According to him, if agriculture is in a better state in Armenia than in Georgia, then Georgia’s agriculture minister and other government representatives have to “shoot themselves.”
“I don’t know what grounds Sharmanashvili had to make such statements, but what’s important is that he expressed his opinion and of course a great stir will follow. It’s possible that the ambassador will have to answer for his words,” said Tkemaladze, reports Georgia Online.
