PHOTOS: Activists Protest Non-Combat Army Deaths Outside President’s Residence

A demonstration outside the Armenian president’s residence organized by a civic initiative group known as “The Army in Reality” took place today with the participation of over 100 human rights activists, writers, journalists, relatives of killed soldiers and their supporters.

Note, the decision to protest outside the president’s residence was made the day before, after local activists heard of yet another non-combat death in Armenia’s Armed Forces — the third young conscript to die in the past 5 days.
