Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan today departed for a two-day official visit to Georgia.
During the visit, Sargsyan will meet with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, parliamentary chair David Bakradze, and Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II, reprots the Armenian president’s press office.
After private, as well as with enlarged, talks, the two state leaders will call a joint press conference. Also expected is a ceremony in which the presidents of Armenia and Georgia will sign treaties on developing bilateral cooperation in several sectors.
In Tbilis, Sargsyan will also participate in the opening of the Armenian-Georgian Business Forum, visit the St. Etchmiadzin Church and meet with members of Georgia’s Armenian community.
