The Armenian National Congress (HAK) will be prepared to collaborate with the Prosperous Armenia party (BHK) if the latter can be free from the dominion of Robert Kocharian, who in a few years caused more damage to Armenia than Ottoman Turkey, said HAK representative David Shahnazaryan, speaking to reporters in Yerevan today.
Shahnazaryan notes that HAK is fighting not against but in the name of, and all those political entities who want to build a democratic Armenia can join their struggle.
According to him, in order to collaborate with HAK, BHK must first profess to that value system that HAK professes — that is the political assessment of Robert Kocharian and the 2008 presidential election.
The opposition representative, in any case, expressed doubt that the Prosperous Armenia party will be ready for this.
In February and March, Shahnazaryan continued, the opposition bloc is preparing to hold dynamic events and the demand again will be impeaching Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
Davit Shahnazaryan once again ruled out the likelihood of an “Arab Spring” occurring in Armenia.
