Gevorg Edik Yeghiazaryan, 19, injured on Wednesday at the Line of Contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijan military forces, was quickly moved to Yerevan by airplane from the de facto Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, the Armenian Defense Minister’s spokesperson Davit Karapetyan informed Epress.am earlier today.
According to Karapetyan, the young conscript is currently under doctors’ supervision at the Central Clinical Military Hospital in the Erebuni administrative district.
Recall, Yeghiazaryan was injured while on duty in one of the northeastern (Martakert) defense positions.
Details connected to the incident are being confirmed; an investigation is underway.
