Ruling coalition forces [Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), the Prosperous Armenia (BHK) and Rule of Law party (OEK)] have discussed and decided the future make-up of the National Assembly, reports local opposition daily Haykakan Jamanak (“Armenian Times’), citing a reliable, but unnamed source.
The parties decided that in majority system and party lists, HHK should get 67 seats. The paper notes that RA President Serzh Sargsyan is preparing to give BHK 30 mandates and OEK, 6, while the president is prepared to give the opposition 28 seats.
