Bobbi Kristina, the teenage daughter of Whitney Houston, was taken to the hospital twice since her mother passed away on Saturday, CBS News and TMZ independently report — once on Saturday night and again on Sunday morning.
According to ABC News, Bobbi Kristina was taken from the Beverly Hilton Hotel to Cedars-Sinai Hospital. A press release provided to ABC said that she was “awake and alert.”
Family members, however, fear that Bobbi Kristina might be suicidal and are considering getting her help.
Sources close to the family told TMZ the family believes she might try and take her own life. According to one source, the family feels Bobbi Kristina needs help and they are considering rehab as an option.
The teen, who various media outlets report as being 18 or 19 years old, has reportedly had her own struggles with substance abuse, The Huffington Post reports. Last year, pictures of the young woman, whose father is singer Bobby Brown, surfaced of her allegedly snorting cocaine. She responded on Twitter, saying in part, “it’s really not what it looks like.”
Houston and Brown were married from 1992 to 2007. Bobbi Kristina is the couple’s only child.
