Opposition Parties to Launch No-Confidence Motion Against Prime Minister

The four parliamentary parties not part of the ruling coalition (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia Party, Armenian Revolutionary Federation, and Heritage Party) today will decide on launching a motion of no confidence against Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan; however, they do not have their own candidate for the position of head of government, reports local daily Haykakan Zhamanak.

"In any case, in conversation with our correspondent, they refused to give names. He, acting prime minister Tigran Sargsyan, to our question on how he relates to this process of this expression of no confidence, through his spokesperson Harutyun Berberyan, yesterday conveyed the following: 'It's not the first time the opposition is trying to use this instrument, which is their right'," reports the newspaper.
