The Supreme Council of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun, or ARF-D) will decide its position regarding the new government by April 18. However, as reported by local daily Zhoghovurd, citing its sources, the party has already agreed to join the ruling coalition — getting two ministerial portfolios in return. According to the newspaper, its candidates are Levon Mkrtchyan and Artsvik Minasyan.
"However, there is disagreement in this regard among the ranks of the ARF-D, as some of the Dashnaks want to see Davit Lokyan in the ministerial seat. But which ministries [the ruling party] is preparing to give to the ARF-D is still not clarified," reports the paper.
