Four non-ruling parties — Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Armenian National Congress (HAK), Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun, ARF-D), and Heritage Party — recently edited the 12 claims they plan on presenting to the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) next week, head of the Heritage Party faction Rubik Hakobyan told the press today after the meeting of the "quartet" in parliament.
According to him, after what happened in Astana, representatives of the quartet included in their demands a matter on foreign relations related to the Karabakh issue.
Last week, Hakobyan refused to reveal the content of their 12 demands, sharing with the press only one of their demands: to adopt a 100% proportional electoral system.
Hakobyan promised that at 1:30 pm tomorrow representatives of the quartet will hold a press conference, during which they will present their 12 demands. According to the MP, it will be a political and economic statement.
Asked what the quartet will do if the authorities ignore their demands, Hakobyan said they gave the ruling party until autumn, and, in fact, "all the requirements are actually feasible."
