In 2014 Armenian Judge Received 33 Thousand Dollars in Gifts: Press

Karen Chilingryan, Armenian Civil Court of Appeal judge, has received tens of thousands of dollars in gifts in one year, local “Zhoghovurd” newspaper reports.

Based on Chilingaryan's official declaration of finances, in 2014 his financial means amounted to $ 20 thousand. The judge also declared $ 33 000 he 'received in donations in 2014.' Chilingaryan's monthly salary is AMD 764 thousand (around $1600).

According to the declaration, the paper writes, Karine Boyajyan, the judge's wife, 'is more wealthy.' In 2014 Boyajyan's financial means amounted to AMD 500 thousand, $ 8500, and EUR 33 000. The judge's wife's monthly salary is AMD 268 thousand (around $553).
