The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is the pain of the Caucasus, said Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, speaking at the Armenian-Georgian Business Forum on Wednesday.
The forum was also attended by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
“Currently, the most painful issue for us is the conflict that exists between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This is not only the entire Caucasus’, but also Georgia’s pain,” he said.
Saakashvili also emphasized the need to integrate the Caucasus as the only way forward for the region.
“I believe that the economy of the Caucasus in the future should be integrated,” he said.
