Levon Zurabyan is Convinced that HAK will Win in ‘Decisive Battle’ of 2012

The Pan-Armenian National Movement (HHSh) youth union on Sunday held its 13th convention, during which a new executive board was elected comprising of Tigran Araqelyan, Babken Urutyan, Avetik Abgaryan, Sargis Gevorgyan, Kristine Sargsyan, Eva Tovmasyan and Arshak Musakhanyan.

As reported by the Epress.am correspondent, participating in the convention were representatives of the Armenian National Congress (the opposition bloc of which HHSh is a member) and members of the youth unions of the other member parties of the Armenian National Congress (HAK).

During his address, HHSh party leader Aram Manukyan (pictured below) told the youth that the coming year will be quite a full one. He stressed that the party will work toward pre-term elections, which it has to achieve in February–March, but if it’s unsuccessful, then simultaneously the party has to prepare to participate in the parliamentary elections in May 2012.

Levon Zurabyan (pictured in main photo), who coordinates the HAK’s day-to-day affairs, during his address likewise touched upon key challenges awaiting them in the coming year.

“In 2012, we are going to have perhaps our most important battle. Carrying this difficult fight generally for four years, crossing this political desert of no elections, almost without any losses, we have approached one of the most landmark and most important occasions of our movement. We, truly in 2012, are going to have the most decisive battle of our movement and our struggle, and we have to be ready for it also in terms of information and communication technologies. I am confident that in the most resolute battle of our future, our nation, our state, our struggle and our movement — we will win,” he said.
