Three Karabakh Soldiers Drown in Reservoir Near Military Unit

Three soldiers of the Nagorno-Karabakh defense army were killed on May 8 when their car fell into a reservoir near the Mataghis military unit, the NKR defense ministry said in an official statement.

“According to preliminary information, soldiers Ruben M Barseghyan (19), Rafayel A Bisharyan (20), and Ruben H Mnatsakanyan (19) died from drowning in the reservoir not far from their military unit. The bodies of Ruben Barseghyan and Rafayel Bisharyan have been found, while the search for Ruben Mnatsakanyan continues,” military officials in Stepanakert said.
