Forty-one people were taken to hospital yesterday evening due to eating contaminated food at Yerevan’s Geghama Restaurant, which overlooks the Hrazdan Gorge.
Currently, 20 of those are still in hospital, 4 of whose condition doctors consider to be “moderately grave.”
Armenia’s Ministry of Healthcare has shut down the restaurant in question. Currently, activities to disinfect the site and clarify the cause for food poisoning are taking place on site, according to “Emergency Wave” press club.
