Young Soldier Dies in Violation of Ceasefire Incident

On Sept. 17, incidents of the violation of the ceasefire regime were recorded along various segments of the Nagorno-Karabakh–Azerbaijan line of contact. 

The Nagorno-Karabakh Ministry of Defense press service has informed us that sniper rifles and large-calibre guns were fired at the NKR Defense Army.

As a result of a open fire from the Azerbaijani side, in the northeastern segment of the contact line, fatal injuries were received by Corporal Andranik Igor Sargsyan (born 1990, Shushi military commissariat), reports the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Defense public relations department.
