Azerbaijan Negotiates Purchase of Gas Pipeline to Armenia

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) continues the process of privatizing the Georgian section of the Russia-Armenia gas pipeline, said SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, reports APA news agency.

According to him, at present SOCAR’s representation in Georgia is in talks on the issue with the Georgian authorities and the country’s petroleum corporation.

“Azerbaijan is going to use this pipeline to export its gas to the shores of the Black Sea,” he said.
