Georgia Circus Fire Results in Death of Animals

A traveling circus tent at the Bakuriani resort in Georgia caught on fire this morning. No people were injured, said Georgia’s Interior Ministry’s Emergency Situations Department, according to various media sources.

The fire completely destroyed the circus equipment and livestock, including six dogs, two monkeys and one lizard.

Firefighters arrived at the scene after the fire extinguished itself. The cause of the fire is unknown. An investigation is underway.
