During the Armenian National Congress (HAK) rally yesterday, an unconscious man was taken by ambulance to the First Hospital in Yerevan. Hospital representatives informed Epress.am that they admitted an intoxicated man at 6:45 pm yesterday. After receiving assistance, the man was released one-and-a-half hours later.
Note, Armenian media today published various reports on this incident. Chorrord Inqnishkhanutyun (“Fourth Self-Authority”) reported that an unconscious man was taken from the rally to First Hospital, while daily Yerkir (“Country”), citing neonews.am, writes:
“During the rally organized by HAK, one of the participants, who was lying down for about half an hour without assistance, died suddenly. The native oppositionists were so engaged in their act of saving the homeland that for a long time they didn’t notice the death of a ‘citizen’ declared by them to be highly valuable.”
Note, during the time the man went unconscious, addressing the crowd was HAK leader Levon Ter-Petrossian who stopped his speech and asked police to call an ambulance.
