“Boiled Children” Sold in Ufa (Russia) Stores

A brand of sausage, whose name translated from the Bashkir language means “boiled children”, has appeared on grocery store shelves in the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan in Russia, Ufa, reports RBC and Ura-Inform news agencies.

The packaging shows a child in diapers, devouring a sausage. According to Timeri Kilmuhametov, there was an error in translation: apparently, the company wanted to inform consumers that the produce was intended for children.

The marketing department of company in question assures the public that the issue with the product packaging will be resolved soon.
