Armenia’s national air carrier Armavia yesterday delayed a number of its flights, while canceling others, reports local daily Haykakan Jamanak (“Armenian Times”).
“Say, the Yerevan-Rome, Yerevan–Rostov-on-Don [Rostov-na-Donu] flights were delayed. While Yerevan-Munich-Yerevan and Rome-Yerevan flights were cancelled. Delayed also were Yerevan-Tehran and Yerevan-Deli flights.
“As for what this is all due to, Armavia doesn’t say. It is only noted that the situation has no connection with disputes between Zvartnots airport and Armavia. Recall, a week ago, disputes between Zvartnots and Armavia were sharply exacerbated due to the latter’s non-payment of accumulated debts,” writes the daily.
